Abstract
Project Name : Herd Bots, a small networked autonomous multi-vehicle platform
Project Description: The project goal is to design and build a small and inexpensive vehicular platform for robotics. The platform will require a drive train that can handle indoor or smooth outdoor terrain. A low-power processor with wireless networking will provides the platform with autonomy and various sensors will provide information on movement and environment. The vehicle will be used in groups, so it is essential that is easy to construct and maintain. The platform should also handle a small payload and provide mounting points for future enhancement. Assistance will be provided with the electronics required for the project.
