MR and LTV Synthesis Tools provides commands for H-Infinity synthesis of discrete LTV systems and multirate sampled LTI systems.LMI solution methods are used for synthesis. One of two LMI solvers can be used:Mathworks LMI Toolbox (purchased separately) or SeDuMi/xLMI (free, available below). LTV model reduction commands are also available in this toolbox. This set of tools also contains commands for conversion and model reduction.

xLMI is a set of freely available commands that define and solve linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). xLMI uses syntax structure similar to Mathworks LMI Toolbox. This single download is actually three separate pieces of software: SeDuMi (SDP solver), SeDuMiInt (a SeDuMi interface), and xLMI (allows block partitioned entry of LMI terms).
